This book, Tales of Sherlock Holmes, was written by Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle (1859 – 1930) who was a Scottish physician and writer who is most noted for his fictional stories about the detective Sherlock Holmes, which are generally considered milestones in the field of crime fiction. He is also known for writing the fictional adventures of a second character he invented, Professor Challenger. He was a prolific writer whose other works include fantasy and science fiction stories, plays, romances, poetry, non-fiction, and historical novels.

This edition includes the stories, A Study in Scarlet, A Case of Identity, A Scandal in Bohemia, The Red-Headed League, The Boscombe Valley Mystery and The Sign of the Four.

The book is covered in brown cloth with red designs and black lettering. It measures 8” x 5 ½” x 1 ½”. It is in fair condition. The binding is attached but loose. It was published by Grosset & Dunlap – 1915. This book will be a great addition to your collection.
