This book was by Rev. J. Stuart Holden who was the Vicar at St. Paul's Church, London England. On April 9th, 1912 Rev. Holden was to travel to America to speak at the Christian Conservation Congress at Carnegie Hall. Due to his wife's illness, he decided to postpone his trip and stay behind with her. That trip would have been aboard the Titanic. This book has black text on a green cloth background. There is some wear on the edges and a small tear in front. The original owner of this book wrote there name in the front. It was published by Robert Scott, London - 1908. The book measures 7" x 4 3/4" and has 158 pages. The binding is good. An excellent collectors find.
